…Because I’ve been to lazy to update the blog. Click on pictures for full view.

So back in January I started working on a city design for a blog print (right). Since then I’ve carved it out, but am still working on getting the prints made. Once that happens though I’ll be able to get them framed individually and up for sale in bulk. It will be the first time I’ve had multiple copies of the same work available. Odds are the prints will hit the
Etsy shop some time this summer.
Also the results from the spaghetti dinner sale are in and I ended up making significantly more than last year, plus half was donated to the youth group. Thanks to everyone who bought my work, and I hope you enjoy it for many years to come.
So then I decided I should work on getting some better stuff together, but a little side project couldn’t hurt either.

Granted you can’t have everything be perfect but the piece is still worthy of a wall. Then after working on “
Father and Son” I decided to keep the two figures together and send them on a journey across various landscapes (similar to Bob’s Vacation, only much more varied).

Then as the
Liturgical Season of Lent began this past week I began musing on the 40 days in the desert concept. After a quick concept session in Photoshop (Left), I was able to come up with yet another environment for the father and son figures to journey through. As I began to work in back to the traditional acrylic medium I found my pre-art concept had help significantly in the overall process.
